Your Mount Vernon moving crew

Mount Vernon, both sides of the Skagit

Mount Vernon sits in the heart of the Skagit Valley on a bend of the Skagit River, and it is about as central as it gets for us, roughly ten minutes from our shop. That means short, efficient moves whether you are downtown or up in the hills.

We move the revitalized downtown and riverside blocks near the library commons, the hillside homes up around Little Mountain and Eaglemont, the family neighborhoods off College Way (Exit 226), and the newer developments like Nookachamp Hills and Highland Greens. Downtown parking and older two-stories mean stairs and loading zones we plan for; the hill homes mean long drives and levels.

A lot of our Mount Vernon moves are families moving up into the hill neighborhoods, folks relocating for the hospital and the valley ag and food-processing jobs, and downsizers heading closer to downtown. Tulip season in April packs the valley roads, so we route around the festival traffic to keep your move on time.

Common questions

Moving in Mount Vernon, FAQ

Do you move the hillside homes up around Little Mountain and Eaglemont?

Regularly. Long or steep driveways and multi-level homes add carry time, and we bring the right truck and crew for the hill.

Can you handle a downtown move with tight parking and stairs?

Yes. We plan the loading zone and truck size for the older two-story blocks near the river and downtown.

We are moving within the valley, Mount Vernon to Burlington or Sedro-Woolley, is that worth a crew?

Definitely. Those are quick, central runs for us and some of the most affordable moves we do.

Do you route around the Tulip Festival traffic in April?

We do. The valley roads pack out in tulip season, so we plan timing and routes around the crowds.

Can you also haul away junk when we move?

Yes. We clear the garage, old furniture, or yard debris the same day, moving and junk removal in one stop.

How soon should we book?

Earlier is better, especially summer and month-end weekends. Once you have a date, we lock it in.
